On December 25, 2014, my life took an unexpected turn. A major life transition left me navigating the unknown as a single mom to my 4-year-old daughter, Lucy. The roles that had once defined me—a wife, a tennis pro, a mother—suddenly felt uncertain. In that moment, I turned to my faith, seeking strength and clarity. With unwavering determination, I embraced the challenge, rebuilt from the ground up, and discovered a resilience I never knew I had.

On the small farm I shared with Lucy, I decided to take a leap and list our home on Airbnb. That first year, we earned $25,000—an incredible blessing. Encouraged, I used what little I had to build a tiny cottage on the property, which generated $30,000 in its first year. While the financial success lifted a heavy burden, my heart still ached for deeper purpose.

In 2021, mission trips to Belize and Africa opened my eyes and heart. I witnessed the transformative power of serving others and felt the Lord calling me to use my own story of brokenness to inspire and empower others. I realized my mission field was right here—in the hospitality industry.
